The plain-language version: describe images, spend credits, use what you generate. Don't use Logospell to make unlawful content, keep your API key to yourself, and unspent credit packs are refundable for 14 days. The numbered sections below are the actual agreement.
These terms are an agreement between you and Logospell ("we", "us") covering logospell.com and the Logospell MCP server (together, "the service"). By creating an account or calling the API, you accept them.
1The service
Logospell generates images from text descriptions: cohesive image sets, transparent-background sets, and single illustrations. You connect through any MCP-compatible client using your API key, or through your account pages at logospell.com.
2Your account and API key
- You sign in with an emailed magic link or with Google or GitHub. There are no passwords. You need an email address you control, and you're responsible for keeping it current.
- Your API key identifies your account. Keep it secret. Generations made with your key spend your credits, whether the call came from you, your AI agent, or anyone else you shared the key with. If a key leaks, contact us and we'll replace it.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires) and legally able to enter this agreement.
3Credits and payment
- The service runs on prepaid credits. New accounts start with a free credit grant, and you can buy more in one-time credit packs, processed by Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing recurs.
- Current prices, pack sizes, and per-generation credit costs are shown on the site and at checkout. They may change; changes apply to future purchases, never to credits you already hold.
- A credit is only spent when a generation completes; failed generations aren't charged. Checking your balance and listing your recent generations are free.
- Credits don't expire, have no cash value, and aren't transferable.
- Generated files stay downloadable for a limited window after each generation (your account page shows the current window). Download links expire and can't be extended, so save your files promptly.
4Refunds
If you bought a credit pack and haven't spent any of its credits, email us at our contact address within 14 days of the purchase and we'll refund it in full. Credits already spent on completed generations aren't refundable. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we'll refund unspent purchased credits. None of this limits any refund rights your local law gives you that can't be waived.
5Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. You agree not to:
- Generate content that's illegal where you or we operate, that sexualizes minors (zero tolerance, reported where required), or that's intended to deceive, defraud, harass, or impersonate.
- Knowingly infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights with what you generate or how you use it.
- Probe, overload, or disrupt the service, evade rate limits or credit accounting, harvest accounts, or resell access without our written agreement.
We may throttle, suspend, or close accounts that violate this section or that put the service's availability for everyone else at risk.
6Your content and generated images
- The descriptions and styles you send remain yours. You grant us (and the service providers acting for us) the license needed to run the service: processing your descriptions to generate your images and storing the results for your account.
- We claim no ownership of generated images. To the extent we hold any rights in them, we assign those rights to you when the generation completes.
- AI outputs come with caveats: similar or identical images may be generated for other users, outputs may not be protectable by copyright, and nothing checks them for trademark or other clearance. Review outputs before relying on them commercially; how you use them is your responsibility.
7Third-party services
Stripe processes payments; your card details never touch our servers. Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms, and sign-in can go through Google or GitHub. Each provider's own terms apply to its part. The Privacy Policy lists the service providers we use and what data each handles.
8Availability and changes
We may add, change, or retire features, and we don't promise uninterrupted availability. We'll make reasonable efforts to announce material changes.
9Termination
You can stop using the service at any time; email us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. If we close your account without a breach on your side, we'll refund your unspent purchased credits.
10Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims is capped at the greater of $20 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. You agree to cover claims brought against us that arise from your unlawful use of the service or of what you generate with it.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes belong in the state or federal courts located in California, and both sides consent to that venue.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and we'll email account holders about material changes. Using the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
